Configuring Stripe payments
Connect your Stripe account to accept credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna at checkout — without leaving Mewayz.
Stripe is the default Mewayz Store payment provider — free to set up, ~2.9% + 30¢ per transaction, supports 135+ currencies and most modern payment methods (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, ACH, bank debit, BNPL).
Connect Stripe
- Open Settings → Payments → Stripe.
- Click Connect with Stripe.
- Sign in to your existing Stripe account, or create a free one.
- Approve the OAuth connection — Mewayz reads your account details and sets up the webhook automatically.
- Back in Mewayz, toggle 'Enable Stripe at checkout' on.
- Pick which payment methods to show — Card is default; enable Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. per region.
Webhooks (handled for you)
Mewayz auto-creates and validates the Stripe webhook so payment status (succeeded, failed, refunded, disputed) syncs back to the order in real time — you don't have to configure anything in the Stripe dashboard.
Stripe takes 7 days by default to release your first payout. Watch your Stripe balance — payouts arrive in your bank account weekly after the holding period.
