Adding and managing contacts

Add contacts manually, capture them from forms, and organise them with tags, custom fields, and segments — your single source of truth for everyone you sell to.

Every other Mewayz module — Invoicing, Bookings, Email, Project Management — connects back to your contact list. Get the contact record right once, and the rest of your workspace inherits the same source of truth.

Add a contact manually

  1. Open CRM → Contacts → Add contact.
  2. Fill in name, email, phone, and company. Only name is required.
  3. Add tags to segment them — 'Lead', 'Customer', 'VIP', etc. You can filter by tag later.
  4. Add custom fields if you collect industry-specific data (e.g. 'License plate' for an auto shop, 'Allergies' for a clinic).
  5. Save. The contact is now linked across every Mewayz module.

Capture contacts automatically

Embed a contact form on your website (Form builder → Contact form → Embed code) or use the public link. Every submission creates a contact in CRM automatically, tagged with the source form.

Connect your Gmail or Outlook in Settings → Email integrations and Mewayz can auto-create contacts from people you email — no manual entry.
