Cancelling your subscription
How to cancel your paid plan, what happens to your data, and how to come back later if you change your mind.
Plans can be cancelled at any time — no exit fees, no commitments. Cancelling drops you to Free at the end of your current billing period. Your data stays intact; you just lose access to paid modules and seats beyond Free's limits.
Cancel
- Open Account → Billing → Cancel plan.
- Pick a reason (optional, but helps us improve).
- Confirm. Mewayz shows the exact date your paid access ends — usually the next renewal date.
- Until that date, nothing changes. After that date, you drop to Free.
What happens to your data
Your data stays intact for 90 days after dropping to Free. You can re-subscribe at any point in that window and pick up exactly where you left off. After 90 days of being on Free with paid-only data, that data is archived (still recoverable on request) for another 12 months, then permanently deleted.
Before cancelling, consider downgrading to Starter ($69/mo) — keeps all your modules and 1 teammate seat. Many cancellations are actually 'I just don't need 5 seats anymore' and a downgrade fixes that.
