Time tracking on tasks
Track time spent per task with a built-in timer or manual log — for billing hourly clients, profitability analysis, or just knowing where the day went.
Time tracking lives on individual tasks. Open a task, hit the Start Timer button, and Mewayz tracks until you stop or switch tasks. Alternatively, log time manually after the fact.
Start a timer
- Open any task and click the Timer icon.
- The timer keeps running across page navigations (small indicator stays in the header).
- Click again to stop. Mewayz logs the elapsed time with the timestamp.
- Optionally add a note ('reviewed designer's mockups') before saving.
Bill the tracked time
If the project is hourly-billed (set under project settings), all logged time flows into a draft invoice. Open Project → Billing → Create invoice — Mewayz fills in line items per task, with hours × hourly rate. Review and send.
