Time tracking on tasks

Track time spent per task with a built-in timer or manual log — for billing hourly clients, profitability analysis, or just knowing where the day went.

Time tracking lives on individual tasks. Open a task, hit the Start Timer button, and Mewayz tracks until you stop or switch tasks. Alternatively, log time manually after the fact.

Start a timer

  1. Open any task and click the Timer icon.
  2. The timer keeps running across page navigations (small indicator stays in the header).
  3. Click again to stop. Mewayz logs the elapsed time with the timestamp.
  4. Optionally add a note ('reviewed designer's mockups') before saving.

Bill the tracked time

If the project is hourly-billed (set under project settings), all logged time flows into a draft invoice. Open Project → Billing → Create invoice — Mewayz fills in line items per task, with hours × hourly rate. Review and send.
