Tracking attendance and shifts

Track who's at work, late, or absent — manually, via web clock-in, biometric integration, or geo-fenced mobile punch.

The Attendance module fits both office and field teams. Office: web clock-in from the employee dashboard. Field: mobile app with geo-fencing so punches only count when the employee is at the work site.

Set up shifts

  • Define shift templates — Day (09:00-18:00), Night (22:00-07:00), Split, etc.
  • Assign shifts per employee or in bulk by department.
  • Set grace periods — e.g. 10 min late doesn't count as Late.
  • Configure overtime rules (1.5x after 8 hours, 2x on holidays — whatever your local labour law says).

How employees clock in

Web clock-in: Employee opens their dashboard and clicks Clock In; clicks Clock Out at end of day. Mobile: same flow in the mobile app, optionally geo-fenced so they can only clock in within a defined radius. Biometric: connect compatible fingerprint/face devices; punches sync automatically.

Attendance data flows directly into Payroll — late arrivals, absences, and overtime hours all get costed automatically when you run the next pay cycle.
