Adding service types and duration
Define what clients can book — different durations, prices, and pre-booking forms — for each type of appointment you offer.
A service is one bookable thing — '30-min discovery call', '60-min haircut', '90-min strategy session'. Most businesses have 2-5 services. Each gets its own duration, price, and (optionally) a question form before the booking is confirmed.
Add a service
- Open Bookings → Services → Add service.
- Name it descriptively ('30-min Discovery Call').
- Set duration in minutes.
- Set price (optional) — leave blank for free consultations.
- Add a description — clients see this before booking.
- Optionally enable buffer time — 10 mins before and after for prep/transition. Mewayz won't book back-to-back slots if you set buffers.
- Save. The service appears on your public booking page.
Pre-booking form
Optionally add fields the client fills before confirming the booking — 'What would you like to discuss?', 'Any allergies?', 'Phone number'. Answers appear on the appointment record so you walk in prepared.
Group similar services on the public page with sections — 'Consultations' and 'Implementations' — by editing Bookings → Public page layout.
