Trans women athletes are banned from the Olympic Games starting in 2028

Eligibility will be determined by gene screening via saliva, cheek swab, or blood sample. Transgender women athletes are now excluded from all women’s events at the Olympic Games in accordance with a new policy from the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
